Jesus Lived! Jesus Died! Jesus Lives!

Three short sentences — JESUS LIVED! JESUS DIED! JESUS LIVES!

These three short sentences are utterly amazing; they are hard to believe; they changed the world; and they can change your life!

God became man. A real human person born in Bethlehem. Jesus left His home in glory to be born in a stable, to be insulted and rejected in spite of doing nothing but good.

Why did God do it? To bring us back to our Creator God against whom we had rebelled. Philippians 2:5-7 states, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:”

II Corinthians 8:9 reads, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”

The Creator of life died. The perfect person nailed to a cross as a criminal, the Son of God suffered the pangs of hell by being forsaken by His Father.

Why did God do it? We needed an infinite sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins – and only God Himself could do it. Isaiah 53:5 states, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

II Corinthians 5:21 states, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Someone came back from the grave. Someone conquered death. And He is still here today.

Why did God do it? To show His complete satisfaction with the work of Jesus in defeating Satan, the cause of all evil and death. Acts 3:15 reads, “And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.”

This is the greatest news in the world! After forty days on earth to prove that He was alive, Jesus ascended into heaven. But by His Spirit, He is always with us. He helps us every day; He gives joy and peace; and He will come again to bring in an age of perfection.

Hebrews 7:25 states, “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Hebrews 9:28 says, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

It’s hard to believe these great events. They changed the world. They can change your life and your future! Repent and believe the good news! Mark 1:15 reads, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

The Bible states in the book of Romans 10:9, 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me the following simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

Congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour!

Believe by faith. Share the faith. and Keep the faith! God Bless You!
