He was the baddest and most gifted athlete ever to come out of college when he left Florida State. They called him “Prime Time”, and he is one of the few athletes who lived up to his nickname in the pros. He is known as one of the most versatile athletes in the history of sports. He played two pro sports at multiple positions, oftentimes at the same time. He has played for the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, winning the Super Bowl with both teams. He has also played baseball with the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants.
He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. When he talks about how he came to Jesus Christ, he describes how that in spite of the fact he had money, women, fame, and status in the world of sports, he still felt empty on the inside and even thought about killing himself. However, after having a conversation with a fellow teammate, he went home, opened his Bible to Romans 10:9, and gave his life to Jesus Christ. He has never been the same, and the joy of the Lord beams from his face today. His name is Deion Sanders.
Hello, this is the “Chief of Sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, and just as Deion Sanders gave his life to Christ, may I encourage you to do the same. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you want to know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, all you have to do is realize that you are a sinner, believe on Jesus Christ for salvation, and pray and ask Him to come into to your heart today, and He will. If you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
